Description

Rods for GTAW of AlSi containing up to 5% Si. Oxyacetylene welding respectively brazing with suitable fluxes possible. The weld metal is not suitable for anodizing for decorative purposes. Very fluid weld pool. Base material should be cleaned near the seam. Pre-heating 150 - 200°C for plates > 15 mm. Do not use for welding hardenable alloys is high stressed zones.
