Semi-automatic welding machine FORBY® MIG 200LT PRO (200A - 60%) (synergic)
Description

Professional welding machine FORBY® MIG 200 LT PRO
FORBY MIG-200LT PRO is a compact inverter welder built for professional work. It combines MIG/MAG, MMA and Lift TIG functions. IGBT technology, a fully digital LED control panel and synergic settings give a stable arc, low spatter and easy control, both in the workshop and on site. The machine is well suited for car body repair, light structural fabrication, metalwork repair, farm use and service workshops. It produces a good weld bead shape and enough penetration with 0.6-1.0 mm wire and electrodes up to 4.0 mm in diameter.

The welding machine is an inverter type and uses advanced IGBT technology. The inverter converts the 50Hz/60Hz AC mains voltage into DC voltage. A high-frequency (20 kHz) converter then transforms it back into AC voltage.
IGBT technology allows welding parameters to be adjusted efficiently, keeps the arc stable and reduces energy losses.
Main features of the machine:
MIG/MAG mode
- Current range: 50-200 A
- Wire diameter: 0.6 / 0.8 / 0.9 / 1.0 mm
- Suitable for welding with:
wire with shielding gas (CO₂ or Ar/CO₂ mixture)
self-shielded (flux-cored) wire without gas
- Polarity change: quick switching between MIG (with gas) and FLUX (gasless) modes (front polarity switching lead).
- Additional functions in MIG mode:
Inductance adjustment - for a "softer/harder" arc
Wire feed and gas check
2T/4T operating modes
- Use: steel, stainless steel, aluminium (with suitable wire and gas).
MMA (stick electrode) mode
- Current range: 10-200 A
- Supported electrodes: Ø2.0 / Ø2.5 / Ø3.2 / Ø4.0 mm
- Hot Start function: easier electrode ignition.
- Arc Force function: stabilizes the arc and prevents the electrode from sticking.
- VRD function: reduces open-circuit voltage (for safe work).
- Use: suitable for most general-purpose electrodes (rutile, basic).
Lift-TIG mode
- Current range: 10-160 A
- Required equipment: a separate Lift-TIG torch and an argon cylinder.
- Ignition: the TIG arc is struck by touching and lifting the electrode ("Lift-TIG").
- Use: steel, stainless steel (not aluminium, as there is no HF ignition).

LED panel controls and functions
Digital LED control panel with clear symbols and buttons for easy operation
1. Button - selects the welding mode MIG/MMA/LIFT TIG
2. Button - selects the 2T/4T/VRD function
2T / 4T operating modes for long welds and less operator fatigue.
VRD function (in MMA mode) for greater safety when working in damp environments.
3. Button - selects the gas type: CO2 / MIX gas / No gas
4. Button - selects the wire diameter 0.6/0.8/0.9/1.0 and manual MIG mode
5. Gas check function "Gas check"
6. Wire check function "Wire check"
7. Button - selects the Inductance / "Hot Start" / Arc Force function
8. Knob - adjusts fine voltage / welding current and voltage / wire feed speed / inductance / "Hot Start" / "Arc Force" (easier ignition and a more stable arc).

Designed for 5 kg D200 welding wire spools. (With the main wire holder removed, it also fits 1 kg D100 spools)
Easily accessible wire compartment - the wide-opening compartment lets you change spools quickly and makes maintenance and wire threading easy.
Reliable 2-roll wire feed mechanism - provides stable, even wire feed and precise tension adjustment with slip protection. Supplied with a 0.8mm / 1.0mm roller.
Compact and mobile: easy to carry and easy to fit on a welding trolley.
Sturdy and durable construction - the powder-coated housing resists scratches, corrosion and intensive daily use.
One-piece design with no external protrusions - lowers the risk of impact damage in tight spaces and makes transport easier.
Ergonomically designed control panel - clearly arranged buttons, synergic control and a bright LED display make changing settings quick.
Protected electronics zones - electronic components are separated from the wire and dust areas, making the machine more reliable in long-term use.
Fan cooling and IP21S protection class - longer service life and protection against dust and moisture.
Heavy-duty DINSE 35-50 connectors - for a secure connection of the earth clamp and electrode holder cables.
Torch and earth clamp connection points - all the necessary connectors are ergonomically grouped at the front, keeping work tidier and faster.

QUICK AND EASY GAS HOSE CONNECTION
1. The integrated gas quick coupling lets you connect or disconnect the gas hose quickly and easily. This shortens setup time and makes the machine easier to move and transport.
2. A 3-metre pressure-resistant gas hose is included with a quick coupling on the machine side. The hose length gives you more freedom to position the welder and the gas cylinder at the workplace.
STURDY CONNECTORS BUILT FOR HIGHER LOADS
Heavy-duty 35-50 welding cable connectors provide reliable contact and stable current transfer. They are built for higher loads and help reduce connector heating and energy losses. Budget machines often use 10-25 connectors. Compared with these, 35-50 welding cable connectors provide an extra reliability margin.
The standard EURO connector for the MIG torch carries the welding current, gas, wire feed and control contacts in a single connection. The torch can be quickly connected, disconnected or replaced with another compatible MIG torch, and the threaded lock keeps the connection secure during work.
FORBY welding equipment focuses on quality, durability and ease of use, so even compact machines use higher-grade solutions such as heavy-duty 35-50 cable connectors and a universal EURO connector for the MIG torch.
