Laser welding helmet
Description
Protective helmet for laser welding - comfortable fit and specialised protective filter
This laser welding helmet is designed for use with handheld laser welding machines operating in the 1060-1080 nm wavelength range. The face-covering shell and specialised protective window help protect the eyes and face from laser radiation within the 950-1100 nm range specified by the manufacturer.
It is a practical choice for metalworking shops and manufacturing companies where a comfortable fit and the ability to adjust the helmet position to the task are important.
Adjustable to the user
The adjustable headband lets you fit the helmet to different head sizes. A knob at the back makes it easy to set the headband tension so the helmet stays securely on the head.
Side adjusters let you change the helmet tilt angle and the position of the protective window. This makes it easier to find a comfortable viewing position when working with workpieces of different heights or shapes.
Specialised window for laser welding work
The protective filter is designed for laser radiation in the 950-1100 nm range. The manufacturer's documentation refers to the EN 207 standard. This version has no auto-darkening filter (ADF) and no air supply or filtration system.
Before use, always check that the wavelength range and protection level marked on the specific filter match the laser equipment and working conditions. The helmet is not intended for looking directly into the laser beam.
Easy maintenance
Clean the helmet with clean water or a mild soap solution. Do not use alcohol or alkaline cleaners. Protect the window from scratches, and if you notice cracks or other damage, stop using the helmet until the damaged parts are replaced.
Operating temperature: -10 to +60 °C. Storage temperature: -10 to +30 °C.
