Sherman-profi V7a self-darkening panel

The Sherman-profi V7a auto-darkening welding helmet is designed to protect the eyes and face from sparks, spatter, and harmful radiation during electric welding, brazing, soldering, and grinding.

When the arc is struck, the automatic darkening filter switches from light to dark and returns to light after welding. TRUE COLOR full-color rendering technology ensures high visual comfort and a more natural view of the workpiece.

The V7a offers three internal knobs to adjust the shade level within DIN 5–13, fine-tune the photosensor sensitivity to arc intensity, and set the delay when switching from dark to light (0.2–0.8 s). A dedicated grinding mode is also available, in which the filter remains in the light state (DIN 4) without shade adjustment.

Four photosensors ensure reliable operation in various positions and conditions, which is especially important when welding at low currents. All switches and adjustment knobs are located inside the helmet to prevent accidental changes to your settings.

The helmet features an advanced, comfortable, and ergonomic headgear for precise fit and full positional adjustment. A special tilting system shifts the center of gravity relative to the welder’s head for improved balance. A convenient “Test” button on the internal control panel allows you to verify proper filter operation, and an indicator LED shows the battery charge status.

The V7a provides full protection against ultraviolet and infrared radiation with a constant UV/IR protection level of DIN 16, even in the light state. The optical class of the filter is 1/2/1/2, the viewing area is 100 × 80 mm, and the switching speed from light to dark is 1/25000 s. Power is supplied by a solar cell with a replaceable CR2032 lithium battery and automatic on/off. The operating temperature range is −5 to +55 °C, and the helmet weighs approximately 0.55 kg.
